CCentre for Excellence in Bio-Technology: To work for utilization of natural resources of MP with the application of Biotechnology.

         CCLF: To overcome the limitations in the available infrastructure of Biotechnology in the Madhya Pradesh with an aim to promote R&D and applications of Biotechnology in M.P.

 OBJECTIVES 

Ø      To promote HRD activities for creating a sound base of BT professionals in the State.

Ø      To develop and promote R & D projects for application of BT for ensuring sustainable use of natural resources of the State.

Ø      To work for developing appropriate linkages and policies for promoting application of BT in various sectors to ensure value addition and sustainable development of natural resources in the state.

CCLF

 Ø      Undertake R&D in various branches of biotechnology and its applications in different areas.

Ø      Human resource development programs for the teachers, students and the researchers in universities and other S & T institutions for their skill upgradation.

Ø      Involvement of industry as well as other stake-holders in the development and applications of BT.

Ø      Training, research and dissertation programs for Ph.D., PG & UG students and farmers.
