Retrieval of relevant Information in an authenticated and value added form is the prime need for an efficient planning and decision making process. Information, the key element to decision making is an important tool for Corporate Managers, Research planners and Government Executives. Information comprises of the basic inputs for successful analysis of the current situation, evaluating of the possible options and selection of the right strategy.

The Center has been Identifying and developing opportunities for furthering innovative research of world standard on its own or in collaboration with one or more institutions and/or industry.

On MAPCOST behalf Centre coordinate with all the Government Departments/agencies for sectoral and cross-sectoral promotion and use of IT in Government/Non-government Organizations.

To generate awareness amongst Students, Researchers, Employees and Other people and demystification of IT so as to promote its use as a comprehensive and cost effective means of disseminating information.

Coordinate and pursue development of all support infrastructure including Computer Networking, Resource management, Internet Facility in the organisation.
